All those words just cannot fully describe Wang Hao's stellar performance in the 2nd Malaysian Open.

In the final rounds there were no GM draw vs GM Ian Rogers of Australia. Wang Hao had already won the tournament one round before.

Ian had probably gone out for a win to fight for second place. The game started with a quiet 1.c4 e5 English Opening with Wang Hao taking the black pieces.

According to Ian Rogers 10. f4 was a mistake. It turned the whole game into a tactical fiasco with Ian's King under attack.

Malaysia Open chess games collections will be on sale to general public at the venue during the Merdeka Chess Championships 27/08/2005~31/08/2005). For orders, you may see Najib Wahab, or call hp: 012-2187541, or email: wan_gabriel (at) yahoo.com
